It's one of those gloomy days here in Minnesota, which calls for snuggles and books all day long! When I start looking at the walls too much I start getting crazy ideas and my crafty side comes out to play.
I have big dreams for this large white wall in our living room but it'll have to wait as it's low on the husbands honey to do list right now. Until then, I recently purchased some old books at the Goodwill to have on hand for little projects and crafts. If you didn't already know I am a major book nerd and I just adore the beautiful words written within the pages. Well, today I got to put those little pages to use and I was excited with the result.
I've happened to collect many old window panes over the years and I am constantly using them for little decor pieces here and there. My wall was looking a little boring so I decided to jazz it up a little with some book pages. Since this is where I spend my days reading it seemed like the perfect place for it!
It was an easy project to do as I just tore out the pages and taped them together behind the window pane. I picked out books with a more vintage style page and a creamy color for character. After getting my foot stuck in the recliner and pulling out the hammer and nails my husband offered support, haha! What would I do without him!
I finished the look with some fairy lights of course, because I can never decorate without them! They give everything such a warm and cozy vibe.
Window panes are so easy to decorate with and look adorable designed many ways! Hang a cotton wreath on one for an easy farmhouse look.
Hope you are all having a wonderful week and staying cozy! If you like this post please feel free to share the love.
