Hanukkah is in full swing over here and we are going on night five of the Jewish holiday. Every year my husband and I have our annual baking day and make our favorite- chocolate dipped pretzels! Can I even call it baking day when we don't even turn on the oven though? ha! Since baking isn't my talent we stick to the easy stuff. Don't be fooled though, these treats are still just as delicious and pretty!
All you need is vanilla almond bark and chocolate almond bark (we purchase ours at Walmart). Also, some pretzel rods, festive sprinkles and wax paper. We decided this year to also do strawberries since some of my family are on the low carb train.
My husband is in charge of the chocolate melting while I dip and decorate! You kind of have to work fast with these as the chocolate hardens.
It wouldn't be Hanukkah without some donuts! We totally cheated and purchased them from our local Dunkin Donuts. Add donut wholes to a fancy glass for a cute display!
I'm not sure if it was the Dunkin' Donuts coffee or all the sugar but we were having a wonderful time together! After sampling all of our goodies we put them in little bags and delivered them to neighbors and family. I found some super cute bags on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/2Qdndlc
Everything's sweeter when it is made with love! Wishing you a Happy Hanukkah and holiday season friends.
