Well, I have officially become that crazy "dog mom." We threw a first birthday party for our Red Border Collie puppy, Grahm! It was a toss up on who had more fun the hoomans or the doggos themselves. It was a day full of raising the woof, laughs and FUN! Below are some ideas for throwing your own puppy pawty. Prepare to have a ball!
We started the paw-ty at the Elm Creek Off Leash Dog Park in Champlin. So many of our friends joined us for some awesome off leash play. The dogs even got to cool off in the parks pond! The pups were exhausted after the park which was perfect for the rest of the days festivities. Suns out tongues out!
Our pawty bus arrived at the dog park just in time for more birthday fun! I couldn't believe the bus company said YES to allowing doggos on the party bus. Thank you SO MUCH Rent My Party Bus for being dog friendly. Our driver said the pups were better behaved then most bachelorette parties- raise the woof!
We danced, some dogs napped and then we arrived to our first stop- Lakes & Legends. Lakes & Legends is a dog friendly brewery inside and does not charge to reserve a table. Paws up to them for lettings us celebrate there, we had a paw-some time. Oh, and if your hoomans get hungry Pizza Luce delivers tasty food right to the brewery. We stopped at Inbound Brewco for one last beer before we hit the road back to our cars. They are also dog friendly indoors and its paw-fect for paw-ties! (God bless AC.)
What's a pawty without some pupcakes? There are so many amazing recipes out there to make dog friendly tasty treats. Since baking isn't my strength I bought a pre-made mix that both humans and doggos could enjoy. Bone Appetit!
Pups left with their very own doggy bag filled with treats and a tennis ball. I had too much fun making these and the dogs had too much fun beggin'
We had SUCH an amazing time with all of our fur-iends and cannot thank you all enough for coming! It was for sure one of the best pawties' because our dogs were along for the fun!
Happy pawty planning friends.
