When it comes to the seasons winter sure has my heart. I love the coziness it brings along with all the hibernating. I know it is most people's least favorite but slowing down and cuddling up always wins me over. While I'll get into why we chose to quit Christmas and switch to Hanukkah in another post I wanted to share our simple and cozy winter decor with you all! The best part is this all stays up until Spring so the cozy vibes and nuetral decor brings me and my home utter happiness for many months.
I am just amazed with the beautiful silk flowers and greenery they have come out with lately. Kirklands is one of my favorite affordable and adorable home decor stops. I went with a eucalyptus for my greens and white washed twigs with cotton and pine cones. I love the simple look it gives and while leaving it neutral I am able to enjoy it all winter long!
I didn't bother to cut the stems off these pieces I just layered them on top of eachother in case next year I wanted to use them differently or in an arrangement. Easy peasy and no wire cutters needed!
Well you guys, I guess I have a thing for pine cones. They bring the outdoors in and offer such a simple look that I adore. That with some minty colored greenery equals a match made in winter heaven. Warm white lights bring comfort all winter long especially since the days are short and the nights are dark. You do not have to take those lights down after the holidays- keep those cozy vibes comin' until longer days return.
Another way to bring in all the cozy is faux fur! From throw blankets to throw pillows it is sure to give you all the winter snuggle vibes.
I of course had to be chaperoned during all this and Oscar always steals the show!
Thank you guys for joining me on my simple yet cozy winter tour! Happy Thanksgiving and I'll be back with more fun super soon.
